Ajudar Os outros perceber as vantagens da Drag x Drive
Vale a pena?
If you’re hoping to relax after a long day at work or school, maybe even a gym session, say, Drag x Drive might not be what you're looking for. Wheeling around gets pretty tiring after a while, so extended play sessions can feel like quite the workout.
Legend in the Mist review: "Incredible flourishes on press-your-luck mechanics to incentivise tough decisions"
Lift the other wheel right after, and you'll do a bunny hop, giving you extra height for shots towards the basketball net from a distance. Passing the ball, meanwhile, is oddly just a button press (both the L+R bumpers at once), while actually making a shot requires you to lift one arm up, flicking the ball to throw.
Drag x Drive is solid fun if you’re willing to just hop on for a couple of games. You can take on friends or global competitors for a few minutes without feeling fatigued, and just enjoy flexing your 3-point shooting or dunking skills.
And yes, like a long session playing PlayStation VR 2, you can get sore quickly getting up to speed in Drag x Drive. Despite being evidently inspired by wheelchair basketball, there's not really any accessibility controls at all – which feels like Nintendo pinging off the backboard.
Simply flick at this point, and you're essentially guaranteed to pull off a basic two-pointer, even if you're facing with your back completely towards the net.
There are a few minigames littered around the courts – stuff like cone courses and sprint time trials. If you complete these within a certain amount of time, you can earn a trophy.
We were probably all around 10 at this point, so all strategy devolved into a mob of kids chasing the ball most of the time. But I had stuck to the outskirts and was wide open.
But, when playing matches online during the game’s Global Jam trial event, I found that this didn’t always work – I’d clash into an opponent, but the ball would remain firmly in their grip.
I'm convinced that this is still one of the best team board games around, and it deserves to be on your shelf
Simply pressing on the Joy-Con 2 triggers when they're flat against a surface will have you grab the wheel to brake, coming to a complete stop if you grab both, or twisting you – momentum intact – if you just grab only one, for tight Drag x Drive game cornering.
I sprinted as fast as I could, sure someone was behind me, but also feeling the eyes of everyone in the stands watching me. In reality, there were probably only a dozen or two parents there, but it felt like the most pressure in the world to have the ball with pelo one to stop me.
